this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; BUT, if we were all on a boat, and said boat started getting large holes in it, how long do you have faith, that you will get to shore, before you freak out, and start looking for a life preserver? ...

Not giving up...

Anyone has a right to voice their disapproval of some of the bonehead things, that have happened this season. I swear, I thought I was watching a game from 1984 today. I don't mind losing, if the team shows up, and bleeds it out on the field. But that didn't happen today. They actually looked like they didn't care at all. All I could think of, was the quicksand line, from that movie the Replacements. One thing went wrong, then another, then another, then another..... It was like watching a train wreck. |
What's popular is not always right, and what's right is not always popular.....

I actually started pressing down on the PANIC button weeks ago ... Today it actually clicked DOWN.
Love the Saints, but this team may not make the playoffs ... |

It's not about a lack of faith bro, it's called a heavy dose of reallity. Take out the TB game, and you have nothing but lackluster performances. I love the Saints, but something is seriously wrong here. I'm just wondering if all of this has anything to do with Brees status in the players union, and his responsibilities in the negotiations for the CBA. He seems to have alot more than just football going on right now.

It's not to late to panic!
Ya know after the Saints won the Super Bowl, bonehead me thought that our time had finally arrived. That losing like chumps was all behind us. It's not that I thought we would win every game, I just thought that losing like a bunch of chumps was over, that we had made a step into the world of pro football. That's right football. What we saw yesterday, was C**P ball. Being a Saints fan for as long as I have I know C**P ball when I see it.
I never did believe in things like The Madden Curse, but now I'm starting to wonder. If things don't straighten out soon, we are going to have to bring out our former battle cry: Wait til next year! |

I have to believe we'll make the play offs. If you can't make the playoffs in the NFC this year you're just a bad team. Despite yesterdays game I'm not ready to believe we're a bad team.
If we get in anything can happen. |
