I agree with you 100% on that one.

However he threw a Career high 4 interceptions, none of which If I recall correctly can be attributed to receivers playing "tip drill" lol.

The pass doesn't have to be tipped to be attributed to the lack of protections from the O line.

Count to two and there's Carlos Rodgers in YOUR face... :help:

I think SP was sending the message by leaving him in instead of taking him out, basically saying "You got us in this hole, you get us out"

another thought is that he STILL was our best chance to get back in the game

Yes, he should have been have benched - in the 4th quarter when the game was clearly over and it was garbage time.

What if he had been injured on that last meaningless drive? We would be calling for Payton's head today.

Nope. Sorry, but have to disagree. This is a rhythm offense and Brees a rhythm QB. They needed to create something positive from this game and benching your star QB wasn't necessary bc with Brees in we always have a chance.

I also noticed Fujita was all in our face... Maybe we should make some minor adjustments to last Years offense? LOL

I agree wit that.... Would rather take a sack than an interception though...

Sean Payton is not being as creative without Reggie Bush.

Fujita being all in our grill is a testament that creativity ended in SB44.

He had the best game he has had since 2008 and the second best game practically of his career!

Okay, INT #1 - did Betts turn the wrong way or did Brees throw the wrong way?

INT #2 - Brees caught and trying to throw to Devery but the lineman made a circus grab (6pts)

INT #3 - Brees doesn't see the lineman drop back the slide over, throws it right to him (6pts)

INT #4 - All Brees, trying to force too much.

I'm talking offense here. That's where all the turnovers are coming from, at least....

And look, Cleveland came in and played a great, mistake free game - they pulled out all the tricks they could to win and the Saints played their worst. Perfect storm.

I don't want to hear anything else about Colt McCoy's big win... No QB who throws for 9 completions and less than 74 yards should be given credit for anything other than NOT screwing up well.
