Love ya, Cheramie. Yessss,I am alil bit worried about the Saints. I KNOW they will tighten up and pull ahead. Playoffs! Playoffs! What Playoffs! Playoffs! Opps,sorry...trip down memory lane there. All I want is for them to do like last year and that is focus and prep and win one game at one time. After Jan.2,well,that is too far to think about which team will be still standing. Speaking of standing, Romo-out. Farve-out. Next thread. I have a few words to say on these two subjects. ![]() |

My Falcons still arent playing complete games yet. With a Saints win this weekend and then a Falcons/Saints game still to come all is not lost. The Saints have got to establish a running game or people will just sit and wait for the pass. Brees isnt helping himself with the turnovers but its definitely not all his fault. He is trying to make something happen.

I'm not giving up on my Saints and even if we aren't playing like we were last year or have the potential this year, WE WILL snap out of it. However, if I get one more text from a Dolts fan or a Ben Raper fan, I may snap and need someone to get me out of jail

I wasn't saying that, but it's human nature to relax after achieving your goals, especially with today's pampered athletes.
Moreso, though, there's just a lot of randomness in the NFL from year to year. Outside of the Colts, who win 12 every year, injuries, bounces, schedules, etc. don't go the same way from year to year. I would venture there's not a ton of difference between most 6-10 and 11-5 teams. You could probably point to one key play in several games that could turn your season one way or the other. That's why you have to savor SB championships like you won't see one again for a while. |
