Love ya, Cheramie. Yessss,I am alil bit worried about the Saints. I KNOW they will tighten up and pull ahead. Playoffs! Playoffs! What Playoffs! Playoffs! Opps,sorry...trip down memory lane there. All I want is for them to do like last year and that is focus and prep and win one game at one time. After Jan.2,well,that is too far to think about which team will be still standing. Speaking of standing, Romo-out. Farve-out. Next thread. I have a few words to say on these two subjects. |

But it looks like our Offense has really been sliding with every game, we've had only a couple of flashes of good offense this entire regular season, it looks like somebody hit the lights and forgot to turn em back on. Drew's off and i heard he was throwing INT's in Training Camp as well and having balls batted down, i didn't hear anything significant from our backs other than Ivory.. Man i don't want to panic but this is disturbing me so im not going to think about it anymore and just see what happens after this game, if we lose like we've been losing then i am going to just say this season is a wash, if we lose in a reasonable way, then i say we are just struggling because we have some key injuries out that teams are exploiting and our D is being overworked, if we pull a W out of this i will be ecstatic going to Carolina to collect a Division win to step back up top of the Division totem pole. |

Both the Saints this year and the Steelers last year suffered key injuries and frankly, I think these teams lose some hunger after winning it. And as others have stated elsewhere, you get everyone's best game. |

I'm not giving up on my Saints and even if we aren't playing like we were last year or have the potential this year, WE WILL snap out of it. However, if I get one more text from a Dolts fan or a Ben Raper fan, I may snap and need someone to get me out of jail

I wasn't saying that, but it's human nature to relax after achieving your goals, especially with today's pampered athletes.
Moreso, though, there's just a lot of randomness in the NFL from year to year. Outside of the Colts, who win 12 every year, injuries, bounces, schedules, etc. don't go the same way from year to year. I would venture there's not a ton of difference between most 6-10 and 11-5 teams. You could probably point to one key play in several games that could turn your season one way or the other. That's why you have to savor SB championships like you won't see one again for a while. |
