Saints need to beat the sucky teams too!
With this past win, it doesn't really erase the embarrassing smell the Browns left in the dome, however it does make the loss go down a little better that we are now even for wins in the NFC amongst the other better NFC teams.
With that Said we need to do like Buc's and ATL are doing and beat the teams we are suppose to beat! Saints are better than Atlanta and Buc's with half of our Roster being healthy, so it's no excuse we lost against two teams we easily out match talent-wise, Atlanta and Buc's man-handled Cardinals, and they both walked away from their match up with Cleveland with a win. We need to approach every game as if we're facing one of our toughest opponents, we've looked passed two of our 3 games where we came out with losses, that Atlanta game was just a tug of war and the team that everybody thought had the least chance of winning came out with a W. I don't think i need to tell anyone that this up-coming game is VERY important, if we lose we fall behind with 2 division losses, that also will put ATL or Tampa in a comfortable position to pull away from us, i fear ATL more than Tampa pulling away, This past game was nothing more than a Momentum booster it wasn't really that important it was probably more important to the mental state of the team than it was to their standing, this Carolina game will put us up one or ahead one of the top divisional rivals. LETS DO THIS SAINTS!!! Carolina will be trying to mimic what Browns and Cardinals did, expect some wild cat, college trickery, Carolina is desperate for a win, Fox Job is on the line and a win here for them im sure is being preached that this is their playoff game, this is their momentum changer, this is their chance to prove they belong amongst the best in the division and not the bottom.. He's trying to save his job and will probably call desperate unorthodox plays to do it. |

Perhaps we need to "pretend" we're preparing for the Colts or the Giants or some formidable team, pretend we're the underdog going in .
The Panthers are a dangerous team. Indeed they are playing to save John Fox's job and he is a pretty good coach. Remember last half of last year the Panthers resurgence ... we need to prepare for that team. |

Well this is the NFL. If you have the talent, work hard, prepare, and get at least one bounce, you can beat the Steelers. If you make mistakes you can lose to the Browns. The Browns, btw, arent that bad in my book. They're no worse than the offenseless Jets. Their Rob Ryan Defense is plain nasty. Look how much Pittsburgh has to fight them every year. The Falcons are for real, as much as I hate to say it, but we had them, and they slipped away.
Put on your rooting eye rays, carry the correct gris gris, wear your lucky stuff, and sit or stand in your lucky position, and make sure we go into Carolina and beat them from the coin flip on. Then when we're back in the Dome, lets do our thing, and raise hell, and be the best home field advantage in all of sports. |
