Chargers waived OLB Shawne Merriman. Merriman passed his physical, so he appears to be over early-season calf and Achilles injuries. The Dolphins, 49ers, and Ravens have been connected with Merriman over the past few weeks, but they may wait to try to sign Merriman to a reduced deal after he clears waivers. |
