Gameballs.
Offense
Michael Lewis- Anybody else think Michael is turning into a pretty good WR?
Deuce McAllister-Another ho-hum day at the office doesn't go unappreciated in my book.
Honorable Mention
Boo Williams-Clutch catch and he ran NORTH.
Montrae Holland-He didn't play great when Jacox went out, but the rookie held his own against a great D-line.

Defense
Ashley Ambrose-Showed there's still some gas left in the tank. Not much gas, but enough this week.
Willie Whitehead-Man am I glad we re-signed this guy.
Honorable Mention
Derrick Rogers-Not a super-elite player, but he seemed to be around the ball all day.

Special Teams
John Carney-Sure he missed one, but that 2nd one was clutch.

How about one for the coaching staff? Although it\'s popular in here to assume (dangerous thing to do people) the players have given up on Haz, I think Sunday was a definitive indication that they most certainly have NOT. After the loss to the Panthers, it\'s worth noting that the SAINTS were ready to play the Bucs, and Haz deserves some credit for that. My Game Ball Goes To Jim.

You\'re right Saintsfan, Haslett deserves some credit for having this team ready to play when it\'s all to easy to fold up the tents and walk.

I have to give credit to Joe Horn just for being out there. Lewis stepped it up and took some serious smacks. That fair catch on the four ruined a great day for him. Whitehead and Grant beat up on a battered Bucs O-line. Keyshawn was open all day, but our secondary made some plays when they had to.

Steve Gleason was always around that ball on special teams. He\'s our Steve Tasker.

Haslet does deserve credt, but why are we always very prepared for the Bucs, but not as prepared for the Colts and Seahawks.

KeyChain played the 3rd WR spot all day. I\'m not sure who was responsible for him. I saw him catch one on Thomas, on Carter, and on Brown.

He hasn\'t made catches like that since his Jets days. I\'ll give him due credit. But I\'m sure , even after a loss, his head is still too swollen to take his helmet off.

I give Brad Johnson all the credit. He found the 2nd and 3rd read all day.
Ain\'t it funny what forced turnovers can do for your win-loss record.

Seahawks-1st game with 7 new starters. I\'ll cut him some slack since I (and many others) repeatedly said this team needed about 4-6 weeks to jell. And that was without all the injuries.

Colts-1/2 our defense OUT, versus the smartest QB in football. I\'m surprised it was so close!

Why are the Bucs never prepared for us but they were for everyone else last year? You\'re right, few teams can be ready for every team every week, but no one, Chiefs included, are 110% every week. The Chiefs lucked out wins this year. They should have lost to Denver.

I watched that punt return over and over. I counted 5 blatent blocks in the back that weren\'t called. One of them took out 2 Broncos.
You\'d have thought it was the 49ers vs the Saints circa 1985.

Damn right Saintfan. Jim deserves a lot of credit for keeping this team in it emotionally. Now, let\'s just hope McCarthy can get the O back on track. Man, how bad will that Carolina Game hurt if we miss the playoffs by a game? Man! This is why people throw things at officials!

Gotta agree with the Haz bit. He did do the job this week. I wish I knew the answer to the why can\'t we be this ready for everybody question myself. I guess if I had an answer to that I\'d be head coach. LOL

P.S. Even Gardner did a good job downing that punt inside the 5. Game balls for everyone!
