Based on what we've seen so far this season, who is our MVP?

Obviously QB's are the most valuable position on a team, so maybe a better question would be

Who's playing the best football on our team right now this season?
Roman Harper?
Lance Moore?
Malcolm Jenkins?
Sedrick Ellis?
Drew Brees?
My vote would have to go to Jenkins. He has played at a very high level at safety and corner and gave us some much needed depth that ensured we did not have much of a drop off when our starters went down.

The answer is NO and not yet.

No because he has faltered very un-Brees like in some spectacular and for me painful ways this season. OK he maybe carrying some injuries and he is missing some key personnel but that is not the concern of those discussing MVPs

Not yet because the season is "just" halfway-ish.

From now on the MVP elect will stand up higher than the rest. I could still be Brees but I sense an old rival in different clothing making a severe challenge to that ckaim.
