Are high expectations a jinx?
I've noticed that whenever people start to think the Saints are really starting to come together, they often come out flat instead and lose a winnable game.
Right now, for example, everyone is talking about playoff scenarios (myself included). It makes me worry that something horrible is going to happen, like losing to ATL next weekend. Is it just my imagination, or does the team only play well when expectations are low? If so, is it the coaches' fault, or does it go deeper than that? Any thoughts? |

Are high expectations a jinx?
It sure seems that way. Not really sure who\'s fault it is or if fault should be placed. I think maybe when expectations are high they may simply try to hard and lose their focus on the game.

Or they start to believe the hype and forget what got them there and start expecting things to come easy.
