In terms of crowd noise in the Dome, my feeling on it has always been
7 PM Game > 3 PM game > noon game Night games are typically the loudest/craziest, and I think the Saints respond to it and play better at night....sometimes I kinda wish they ALL could be night games. The way I look at it, every hour spent drinking before the game, ups the noise potential by +1 dB per fan. So I like a 3 PM kickoff just fine...gives the fans a chance to get a good leisurely head of steam (or should I say "suds") going before the kickoff... I bet Champions Square will be rocking. Plus, looking forward, a lot of people expect to have a light week at work ahead this next week; that week of Thanksgiving, nothing much ever gets done in a lot of places, so people will be ready to start the party rolling on Sunday. |

I prefer the 3 oclock games. It gives me a chance to get some things done and prepare the grill for half time. This week I'll be boarding a cruise that leaves a 4 oclock......that sucks. Hopefully I'll be able to get on board in time to watch kick off.

It is a special package we can purchase from DirecTV that gives us HD access to every game played on Sunday, including a game mix channel showing eight games all on one screen (works well with a very large screen ) and the Red Zone channel.

Sunday ticket, sigh!!!!!!!!! If only we could get that, it sounds amazing!
The only way I follow the Saints games is by purchasing field pass on NFL.com. Then I can tune into Saints radio and watch the little game graphics on NFL.com at the same time. I must admit I do enjoy the two guys that commentate, they really know their game and are quite entertaining to listen to. GEAUX SAINTS! WHO DAT! |
