While the Saints were off on Monday, a day after their impressive 34-19 win against the Seattle Seahawks, the Cowboys got to celebrate their own 35-19 victory against the Detroit Lions by going through a walkthrough at their Valley Ranch headquarters.
Typically NFL teams don't practice following games days, but because of the short work week due to Thursday's game against the New Orleans Saints, Cowboys Coach Jason Garrett wanted to get a jumpstart on the preparations. "From our standpoint this is a quick week," he said. "We have to process the game yesterday quickly and move on to the New Orleans Saints. We installed some stuff this morning in our meetings and had a walkthrough practice this afternoon on the Saints. Like I tell our guys, we are within 72 hours of playing this game. So the Saints will be here quickly. We have to get ready for them." I hope we destroy Dallas. I'm still sick from that game last year.

The Saints were off on Monday? What?
Nooo,I hope this was not true. There is no time to be of. I assume,I hope Monday was one of those light days of team meetings, film, film and film review. Dallas is a very serious team going in with nothing to lose and everything to win. Actually, that is wrong. There is a lot to lose, like a coaching job or spot on the roster. Everybody wants to be on for his jobstake next season. |

They are prepared. They have been game planning for this during the past week. One day off is great! Let Garrett over work his team and make them even that much more tight. Oh, and Dallas has nothing to win other than a better draft pick. |
