Scrambling since the abrupt and mysterious loss of their long snapper to injury last week, the New Orleans Saints late Monday signed Justin Drescher to a deal to handle the job, according to a league source.
The exact terms of the deal were not released, but Drescher, who was one of the long snappers the Saints tried out last week when Jason Kyle went on injured reserve, is expected to be with the team this week before it departs for a Thanksgiving Day game at Dallas. Very important position is the long snapper. Didn't cost the Saints the game this time, so glad they moved on. Hopefully this kid can get it done!
