this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; He should not be allowed to call Cowboys games anymore. Good god I wanted to just kill myself listening to him. I get that he played for the turds and all, but his homerism was pukifying. We were winning 17-3 ...

Aikman
He should not be allowed to call Cowboys games anymore. Good god I wanted to just kill myself listening to him. I get that he played for the turds and all, but his homerism was pukifying. We were winning 17-3 and the other guy was talking about how the Saints offense looks to have finally gotten on track. Then Aikman says "Well Dallas' offense looks really good too. It was pathetic and almost sounded desperate and like he was trying to convince himself of something. Even the other guy seemed to get annoyed by him. The media as a whole has really gotten rediculous about the Cowboys.

I hear you but they have an insanely large fan base. The media will always jump on anything they do. Who cares, we won and there is no hope for Dallas. This was their last media infused game. Watch it get quiet and shift to the Falcon and Saints from here on.

he was in a serious love fest with Jason Garrett, even if the cowboys made one first down it was "Oh thats all jason Garrett there, Wade Phillips couldn't do that blah blah F***ing blah"
I usually like Aikman, but he should be banned from calling cowboys games. Were the Refs from Texas Also? |

I thought they were very good. I really like that combo.
Buck is the new Al Michaels and Aikman is extremely knowledgable and as smooth as glass. I can't think of a better combo calling games right now. Well, the MNF crew is pretty good too. |

Agreed. I don't feel like Aikman is a homer at all. I've heard Joe Buck called a poor man's Costas. That's about right. Joe and Troy are fine with me.
