Sammy's mad
Good! Maybe Sammy can light a fire under these guys butts. Maybe Atlanta was the wake up call the defense needed. My apologies to you Gatorman re: the comments about run defense vs. the secondary. In an earlier post I stated that the run defense wasn\'t the problem. On further evaluation I see that we are starting to suffer against the run. I will say that the problems seem to coincide with injuries to Hand. I remember last year when Hand got hurt our run defense went into the tank as well. All I can say is I hope Hand gets well in the bye week, because our LB corp can\'t hold up.

Sammy's mad
Maybe Sammy could teach everyone else how to tackle. I watched the Falcon game again last night and couldnt believe the horrible tackling. The play Bellamy missed on third down and long against Crumpler was terrible. I know Crumpler is big, but Bellamy hit him high. You have to take someone like that low. Warrick Dunn on 3rd and 6 should have been taken down for a 4 yard loss and ended up getting a first down on the play. Sammy missed a tackle there too. Hodge missed quite a few tackles last week to. I am a little scared to say this, but he reminds me of a LB we once had. Mark Fields. Fast as can be, but always out of position. He is young and will learn hopefully.
