Our O line against the Bengals D line

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; They better not let em' get anywhere near Brees. Bengals have the lowest sack total in the NFL. We need to get in the mind frame right now to spoiler their season even more than meat, fish, eggs, and crawfish ...

I believe their top sack artist has a whooping 3... a rookie(Dunlap I think) who comes in during pass rushing situations. We should be able to dominate their DL.

On that note, up until last week, did you guys know Carl Nicks was the highest rated interior lineman in the league? There's a site name Pro football scout or something along those lines that grade players per play for each game and they had ranked him #1 in the NFL... pretty cool.

Running the ball gives real juice to pass protection. If we establish the run, especially if it gets chilly, Brees can light a fire and set up camp in the pocket. The question is will dropsies be a problem this week?

Well Will Smith has a whopping 3.5.

I was pointing out how pathetic their pass rush is and how we should be able to dominate their DL... not on how productive Will Smith has been. That said, Smith's numbers are quite depressing and I don't expect him to have much success against Whitworth who is a pretty good tackle. I do expect Ellis and Remi to get solid push up the middle and hopefully Brown can apply some pressure on the other side.

put a bulldozer on one side and a cupcake on the other......theres your matchup. If the Saints even come close to losing this one yall need to run and hide in a bayou. Brees could beat this team with no gameplan.
