Les Miles' little creek ran dry. If we keep having to go to the well, it won't be long before ours dries up too. We should have blown these people out. The Bungles did exactly what we were all hoping they would do...they just handed it to us. As the clock was ticking down, all of us had that dark place in our minds that we really didn't want Payton to shine his light - and we all know he is capable of it.

I remember thinking .....oh God no! The only thing about these little trick plays is that eventually you can wind up tricking yourself.

The next DC will probably tell everyone to play the ball on 4th, but that the DL should freeze and dont try to get a jump on the ball. Giving us a jump on the defense for a 1-2 yard 4th down run play. Brilliant. |
