I'm sorry, but compared to most working kickers out there and all non-working kicker out there I like Hartley. If not for him we wouldn't have beaten Dallas. He was 3 for 3 with 50 and 45 yarders.

He went through a short slump earlier this year. He was pure money the two years before that.

And he didn't beat out Shanle. Shanle was slated to be the starting Sam and when Casillas went down they moved Shanle back over to Will. He was never not going to start.
