Whispers from around the NFL
Pro Football Weekly Tuesday, November 11 Updated: November 11 4:09 PM ET We're told the Saints regret trading DT Martin Chase to the Redskins during the offseason instead of DT Grady Jackson, who was released last week after being suspended for conduct detrimental to the team. The Saints believe that Chase was just as good as Jackson ever was. Don't this sound just about right? Hindsight is always 20/20. |

The difference being that Chase will never be an elite DT. A good one maybe, but never great.
Grady could be a great DT if he had the desire to. We gambled that Grady would, but lost. |
