That was a bone jarring hit and then he got piled on. Roby is a gamer! Yeah I have been thinking about him all night. Kind of put a damper on a pretty dominant victory.

I just saw Brees praying... I had no idea what that was about... I had stepped away from the Tv...man. I'm tearing up... I wonder if fans are allowed to go put flowers outside his room or something...

Yea, I didn't like the way the EMT on scene was constantly talking to him and touching him. We usually do that because a guy is losing consciousness. I was pretty worried after I saw that. Preying for you Roby.

I'm anxious to get the update this morning. Somebody please tell us what you know, when you get it.
I'll tell you what, I dont know what tv showed, but there was a rather emotional moment yesterday in the Dome. First after the fumble, and everyone was unpiling, we could see a player down. Now my view is from the Terrace. I dont know what you were seeing on tv, or in the lower levels. I suspected it was Roby, but there was such a crowd around him, it took a minute to confirm. His legs were frighteningly still, stuck in the same position. It gave you a bad feeling, but then I looked over and saw the entire Rams team out on the field taking a knee, and I knew that this was bad. Then you see a guy on the field make a "T" gesture, which I guess is the cart's cue. Of course, we had the long delay, and the crowd was very respectfully quiet. Well, as they were preparing to lift him, the crowd actually started chanting "Roby Roby Roby," and they made a big cheer for him as he was rolling off. The big screen showed him wiggling his fingers, and the crowd erupted. Get better fast, Roby. We're all rooting for you. |
