New Orleans Saints remind Sam Bradford he's still a rookie

His performance Sunday won't be the one that secures him the coveted trophy, though.

Under constant pressure from the New Orleans Saints' defense at the Superdome, Bradford found it difficult to lead the Rams to any sustained success, as the Saints blasted St. Louis 31-13 before a sellout crowd.
Bradford, the No. 1 overall selection in April's NFL draft, played one of the worst games of his young career, as he threw two costly interceptions in the red zone.

"Turnovers killed us today," Bradford said. "Turnovers hurt you anywhere, but especially when you get into the red zone. It just gives the other team all the momentum in the world. I've got to be better when we get down there. I've got to be smarter with the football. I just can't make those mistakes."
"Those mistakes" had become uncharacteristic of Bradford, whose early season play was statistically better than that of Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, a sure-fire Hall of Famer, during Manning's first season.

But the trouble for Bradford started late in the second quarter.

This game really reminded me of last years week 4 matchup vs Jets, where we basically harrassed Mark Sanchez into rookie mistakes - sacks, INT TD's and fumbles.
Thats exactly what we did against Bradford yesterday, But i just cannot give malcolm Jenkins enough praise, the dude is everywhere!!! he just gets better and better every week!!

Actually, you could make the argument that Bradford has been playing better QB than the current Peyton Manning this season.

He does look good in Gold pants.... Wait, did I just say that?.. Well you know what I mean.

When Drew retires we just have to give him a jersey and a helmet.
