this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; NFL Network should be renamed NFS (no freakin saints) Network. Maybe I missed something on ESPN - while waiting through hours of "around the league" coverage... And on Yahoo Sports, Let's see... With all due respect, Please put Favre out ...

I guess I just don't get it...
NFL Network should be renamed NFS (no freakin saints) Network. Maybe I missed something on ESPN - while waiting through hours of "around the league" coverage... And on Yahoo Sports, Let's see... With all due respect, Please put Favre out to pasture - Matt Cassel got his appendix taken out, Aaron Rodgers has a concussion, Mike Vick wants a new dog - The guy on the Cardinals is not smiling, Blah Blah Blah...
How is Rookie of the year CHRIS IVORY'S hamstring? Who just won the Super Bowl? Any game footage from Halloween night? Or from the Cincy game? Did we beat the Rams and that BRADFORD kid everybody's talkin about? I know - I know - "Under the radar" But this is underground. |

Couldn't agree more, NFL Network only talk about the teams who are either prima donna's or have someone called Tom "cry baby" Brady as a player, people forgot about us last year and whilst it is extremely frustrating to have no coverage of our team what so ever, it sure does taste sweet when we prove wrong all the naysayers and are standing in the middle of the field with coach Payton holding the silver ware "tiffany"
They just seem to us every season, im thinking coach Payton would have it no other way however, defending champs and no coverage at all. WE WILL WREAK HAVOC IN THE PLAYOFFS, THE FAILCLOWNS WILL FALL AT OUR HANDS!!! and we will be holding the trophy again!!! |

I notice the same thing. Reminds me of a Modest Mouse song "good news for people who like bad news". They don't talk about the Saints because there is no drama or dirt on the team. Who wants to hear about Ivory or that PT is back other than folks in La. Being the flagship station they should have a more balanced approach but that doesn't get the TV ratings so they harp on Favre and Vick and every soap opera
side show. |

I've heard more Saints talk on NFLN than any other sports media outlet available.
I don't think you guys listen enough. |
