So much for Superbowl Slump..
We're 10-4... Think about it.. 10 and only lost 4 games, after a Superbowl..
Most teams fall flat on their faces the year after and have to spend the next year regrouping to get back to that winning form, we slipped up a bit due to mostly us playing some of our worst ball in years, shooting ourselves in the foot and a lot of bad luck, but we're clearly not out of it by no means, people are ready to go hang themselves after defeats like this but we're still very much in the playoff hunt. It's obviously not going to be as easy as it was last year, certainly the coaches have some adjustments to make before we reach the eclipse of the season, (Shanle).. But we're not as bad off.. Most are mad because Falcons are now 2 games ahead and we officially can't catch up to them. They are the best mediocre team in the league and have been basically winning on the fact they have they are the lest penalized team in the NFL "(I'll hang on to my conspiracy issue with the slides of holds and ignoring all the various other penalties).. Outside of that, this game coming up is the must win game of the season. Yeah ATL beat Ravens mostly in the penalties "get-give" ratio, if we can over-come that we have a chance of clinching our playoff berth and making it a little harder for Atlanta to seal the # 1 seed. I'd rather Philly get it personally so ATL has to fight us again or face NY.. just to spite. |

Yeah your exactly right. I'm going to admit that I was extremely frustrated with our performance because we all know we can play a hell of alot better than we did today. However we are still in a good position.
As for the adjustments, in the offseason - Shanle and McMahon need to go, but we'll get to that in the offseason lol bring on the clowns!! |

We're all spoiled to the success of last year. How many years would most of us given up a body part to have double-digit wins for the season???
I think HFA is the Falcons, and if not them, it would almost have to be us. About the only way for Philly or Chicago to have a chance at HFA would be for the Falcons to lose out, the Saints to lose to the Bucs and one of them win out. If it ends up a 3 or 4 way tie at 12-4, the Saints get HFA due to division record (against ATL) or conference record (against PHI or CHI). |

Shanle can probably be replaced with some street ball player, SERIOUSLY, Payton need to ride around neighborhoods off of Airline Hwy or in Kenner and just offer a guy off the street playing street ball, running on the cement at full speed on bare-foot, blocking and catch the ball with no sign of slow down. '
Shanle seem's to be happy that he got paid now he's just trying to get through the season so he can spend some of that money. |
