this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Hello there boys and girls. Can you say DEFENSE ? Defense kept us alive while the offense sleep walked through another one. Say what you will, but the 2 interceptions were really bad. First one, again throwing off his back ...

Who won the game?
Hello there boys and girls. Can you say DEFENSE? Defense kept us alive while the offense sleep walked through another one. Say what you will, but the 2 interceptions were really bad. First one, again throwing off his back foot. Second one, throwing into triple coverage. As far as Deuces fumble, that was caused by a very good defensive play. You can't fault Deuce for that. I guess I should just be glad that we won. I just wonder if at some point in time we will put a complete game together?
P.S. How bout them Tigers? |

I thought the DEFENCE \'won\' the game. They somehow kept us in it.

Ok, now that I\'ve defended Brooks enough. That was one hell of a game. This defense isn\'t great but it sure is oportunistic. You\'ve got to give credit to Dan Reeves and the Falcons. They had a great game plan on defense and looked strong against the Giants last week also.
Games like this are what seperate the game of Football from all other sports. It was a great win and they earned this one. |
