If the Saints can beat the Falcons Monday Night they will be 1 game back
going into the last game. The Falcons have the Panthers at home and the Saints have the Bucs at home. If the Falcons were to lose and the Saints win the Saints would win the tiebreaker for the division. The Falcons would have 2 division losses and the Saints only 1. The likelyhood of that happening is not too good but I think that would assure both the Saints and Falcons playing their regular players that last weekend instead of resting everyone. |

We just need to win 1 of the next 2 games and we're in the playoffs. I would prefer if we beat the falcons, but it really doesn't matter. Winning the division is pretty much a lost cause so I wouldn't even be worried about it at this point.

Hopefully we win and Tampa loses so they are out of it next week.

as I have said before, I hope Tampa doesn't make it bc they have no chance of advancing. They have not beaten a quality team all year

This is really a must win game for the Saints. I have very little hope of a division title, but clinching that number 5 spot is very critical at this point. I also really want to see the Rams win their division and clinch the number 4 spot. The difference this year between 5 and 6 is incredible. Think road game in wild card weekend. Much better for the 5 team not having to travel to Philadelphia or Chicago to open up. Ideally, if the Saints are able to secure the 5 spot, to have to travel to St. Louis and play in a dome.
