Eagles, mediocre...re. Vick: methinks the nations has lost its mind...
The Eagles are and have been a mediocre team for some time, check out their record. Their QB is a criminal and is morally bankrupt as is witnessed by his cruelty to animals. There is something intrinsically wrong with a human being so perverted as to take their cruelty out on defenseless animals that, ultimately, will pass on to the team through their leader.
Not sure why the public is O.K. to be O.K. with Michael Vick, but he isn't O.K. and giving him a pass is not O.K. He should never have been allowed back in the NFL. Shame on us, but ultimately, his core will be passed on to the Eagles core and they will fail. Saints, or Falcons can/will dispatch Eagles if presented the opportunity. |

The Eagles defense is bad. If Vick has a bad game, they're screwed as a team... at least we have a defense to back up our offense.

Well... Wharris, I don't blame ya for feeling that way, but personally I can't keep convicting Vick for a crime he's paid for (and still paying for). He seems to have made some positive changes in his personal life so I have to give him benefit of the doubt in that arena.
Eagles are good. No question, but they're not so good that they deserve a status of being head and shoulders above the entire playoff pack. I believe the Eagles and Saints are on a collision course for the NFC title. I'll put my money on Greg Williams to put a containment scheme on Vick, thus shutting down the Eagle's improv offense. |

Eagles are all flash and dash with Vick, Jackson and McCoy. There is little to worry about beyond that. Guys like Celek and Maclin are decent players but nothing special. Their defense is a weakness overall. Their home turf gives em some edge in games as well.
I don't see these guys going anywhere in the post season. Vick can be explosive but he can also derail. He's a mid season highlite reel. I'd gladly face them over Atlanta or Chicago anytime. Chicago's defense at Soldier worries me much more than Vick and a few speedies come post season. |
