As Saints fans we are used to getting bad/non calls made against us.
But the officials last night raised the bar. Offensive pass interference is rarely called in any game. Offiicials finally called it against the Falcants, but miraculously a defensive penalty is also called against the Saints. I quit counting all the times I saw the Falcants holding when a Saints defender was getting close to Ryan. The ghost 15 yd penalty roughing the passer when a defender "supposedly" hit Ryan's face mask. And the one that pissed me off to the heights if pisstivity was when the Saints were driving and had the bird droppings on their heels and the officials suddenly decide they need to measure and make sure the Saints had a first down. It gave Atlanta a breather and I think on the next play Brees threw the pick 6. They don't call defensive pass interference when the defender never looks back for the ball. A defender grabs Bush's helmet and throws him down. I know the Saints won the game despite the officials, (and themselves), but when the officials call penalties 8-92 vs 1-10, (you get 3 guesses and the 1st 2 don't count), as to which figure belongs to which team. The Saints would probably score in triple digits if the Saints got an evenly called game! |

Well thats over and done with, i hope we don't get these officials during the playoffs, i smelt all kinds of conspiracy with them, they damn near could have stuck a PS3 Wire in each players ass and played the game themselves the way they tried to control the game's outcome.. glad Saints glitched their gameplan.

I would have to wholeheartedly concur ... That's why we're champions as we can overcome even these blatantly biased calls.

That roughing the passer was pure bs. On the ones that would have pushed the Falcons back, there was always an offset. Blatant isn't a strong enough word for that debacle. We won, I'm happy, still mad about the league's obvious love for the Falcons.

Im no conspiracy theorist, or anything like that but it seems like hoc-u-lees!!!! and his crew got paid extra to keep the game close. Brees and company starting field position near or around goaline on most of the drives besides ATL's turnover. It's gonna be on NFL Network, so Im DVRing it to watch again without all the emotion that I watched with while it was live.
