I really don't think any Saints member deserves to be in the Probowl since all will be playing in the Superbowl.

I don't think jenkins deserves it.

But it's utter bull**** that we're sitting tied for 2nd best record in the nfc and don't have a starter. get off atlanta's jock already, it's disgusting.

It's like being a homecoming queen, how many of your friends/fans vote for you. Don't need to be in the probowl, just one bowl counts and that's the Super Bowl. Jerry World, here we come!

works for me. I hate having our players in the pro bowl. they might get hurt in a truly meaningless game. also they cost more at contract time.

they should stop playing the pro bowl. lets just have a hollywood-style red carpet thing where they go, "and the best wide receiver is.... (shrippp! --opens letter) MARCUS COLSTON!" (music/Colston walks down aisle smiling) "I' d like to thank all the little people who made this possible. Lance Moore, cornerbacks, my 5th grade teacher."

lets just do that, and forget about suiting up in pads. let em go to hawaii and all that.

The Probowl is all about stats and exposure. Jenkins is having on heck of a season but most fans won't know it because the only see the highlights. Ellis is a guy I would have liked in the probowl, he's a stud this year.

The idea of having a red carpet event instead is not bad but more than anything else, people need to stop discussing probowls when talking about who belongs in the hall of fame. As long as fans are allowed to vote being in the probowl is worth poo...

correct me if im wrong but isnt probowl voting a popularity contest. its hard for me to believe Witten is the best TE in the NFC. he couldnt have had that good of a year with no qb and his team winning barely any games. Gonzales...i cant wait for this guy to retire. i honestly like it better when our players dont go. i have flash backs of when brees dislocated his arm.

If I had to pick one, I'd say Vilma. But like others have said I think the Pro Bowl is a waste of time and should be done away with.

Jenkins, Colston, and Lance Moore are all worthy of consideration although I will say Marques' double-digit drop countbisnt very worthy.

If I cared about the Pro Bowl, I would be upset that Big Sed didn't make it.

Colston. He's averaging over 1,000 yds every year and has started in over 90% of those games. If that's not an A+ receiver then screw the Pro Bowl.

I think its officially 5, but I'm guessing thats why he was omitted.

Lance Moore isn't there yet, but he's closing fast

Jenkins didn't start studding out until around mid-season. I think he's a lock for 2011 barring injuries.

I think Harper is also deserving, but they only chose one SS. He'll be an alternate I'm sure.

Not concerned in the least about it. It's a paper title and nothing more. Half the players don't deserve to be there anyways and get in on name and reputation alone. Any Dallas fan will laugh at Gurode being there. He's been terrible all year and likely won't even be re-signed by them. But he's been to 4 previous pro bowls so there you go.

It's seldom based on merit and not even a game worth watching.

I agree with the I wish they would discontinue the Pro Bowl sentiments. I really agree with the fact they need to stop saying Pro Bowl and Hall of Fame in the same sentence. Oh, I never was a high school english teacher and probably never will be.

Only 1/3 of the Pro bowl vote is from fan voting.

After looking at the NFC team the only other two who definitely should be there are Ellis and Harper. Colston dropped way too many passes this year. Jenkins is getting better and better but didn't have a good enough complete season to make it. Vilma could have made it but Willis and Urlacher are even more deserving.

Colston has dropped some but he's nowhere near the top of the list. Tony Gonzales on the other hand is way up there. Thing is the guy is on pace to be a shoe in hall of famer but can't make a pro bowl.
