WHO'S THE MOST OVERRATED PLAYER IN THE WHOLE NFL?
Look, the Writers' Bloc would be the last group to take lightly the idea of anybody being "overrated" -- especially after all the things people have said about us. But after the Bucs discarded Keyshawn like a used dish towel, try as we might, we could not avert our eyes.
Personally, we'd never say that Keyshawn is overrated -- well, all of us but Ralph Wiley -- but we'd be remiss if we didn't point out that at least one well-respected Super Bowl-winning coach (the one who most closely resembles a horror movie star) obviously believes that to be the case. So, in addition to the man from USC, we offer 10 nominees for the title of Most Overrated NFLer. For the rest of this article, click here: http://espn.go.com/page2/s/bloc/031119.html |

Without question, Michael Vick, when will the love-fest be over? The guy has all the makings of a cancer and his numbers last year weren\'t THAT great.
After Vick, I\'d name just about any player considered a major free agent to come out in any given year. Hugh Douglas for example Keith Brooking for example Johnny Morton for example David Boston for example |

I can\'t include Ricky in that group. I believe he is playing with an O-line that heavily overachieved last season and is playing up to their caliber at this point. He is overworked in that offense due to the inept passing game Miami possesses and it is only a matter of time before he resembles Earl Campbell moreso by being out of the league after 7 or 8 seasons and having troubling getting out of bed with bad legs.
My vote: Warren Sapp I give Keyshawn more credit than this wind bag. |

Shockey, without question.
The guy is a great tight end, but how many other tight ends have you heard about in the press as much as Shockey? Received as many endorsements as Shockey? There has never been a tight end as heralded as he has, and despite the fact that I think he has all the talent to be a great tight end, I\'m not sold that he is the best in the league. |

Hmmm...
Tebucky Jones is overrated. How can a 6\'2 220lb safety get stiff armed by a 5\'9 180lbs running back so easily |

Warren Sapp. No question. Next year when the man is playing somewhere else, we\'ll all see just how average at best the man is. Unless he goes somewhere where there\'s a lot of surronding D-line talent (i.e. Dallas, or believe it or not, New Orleans), he\'ll be poo.
