The Rams are a bad team that plays like they think they are a good team -- boring plays, predictible offense/defensive schemes, playcalling that looks like any other NFL team around the league. They go through the motions of being an NFL football team, but they're just not very good, and it doesn't really work. The Seahawks on the other hand, play like a bunch of disorganized guys playing street ball, all for themselves, every man for himself. They are a very schizophrenic team and you never know which Seahawks are actually going to show up. You can't scout them, because you practically don't even know WHO their guys are. Who is their offensive line? Who is their QB? See what I mean? Does anyone really know who is going to come running out the tunnel on Sunday? It's kinda like playing against a whole team made up of Michael Lewises, Larry Beavers, beer guys, 1-year-contracts, camp bodies and walk ons, all DYING to take your head off and be NOTICED by somebody. Which I think is actually kinda dangerous come playoff time.
So I think they're a much more problematic matchup, especially with the injuries we have. I would have much preferred the Rams, but oh well. |
