Front 7
I believe the D-line has to come up big in these playoffs. With all the injurys on both sides and I know we have alot of injurys on our D-line but they have to show up. Were going to be on the road for to two big road games the front 7 have to stop the run and get pressure.

Our defense shows up when it gets down to the wire. If we blow them out early and shut them down, then they can rest a little before our next road game. Otherwise, they had better be fighting til the bitter end. Believe GW still has some magic that will come out in the playoffs. Qwest if going to be a nasty stadium to play in.

Anyone know the status on Alex Brown? Charleston stepped up in his place and made a key play with the forced fumble and recovery.

Other than the turnovers, the defense has done a pretty good job this year. There is still room for improvement. We are top 10 even without the turnovers from last year. That's saying something. Even when we've gotten turnovers this year, our offense has not made them hurt our opponents. Goal line defense this year has been over the top. Luda34 is right - runstop and pressure from the front7 will hopefully leave the back5 free to make some plays. Maybe Sean Payton ought to have a little conversation with the head of the officiating crew about guys hanging on Will Smith all day.

It's hard to bring pressure with the front 7 when there are only 2 or 3 players worthy of being on the field.

I've been talking about Charleston since last year when he get in the game he brings the best pressure off the end then anyone on the team. When giving a chance to play he play really well we should give him and Junior a chance to put both of these guy in the game at the same time they are both high energy players. |

Junior was back last week. I hope he's healthy enough to get some good sweat during this post season. Charleston is going to find himself with much more playing time if he keeps it up. I see him everywhere and he brings the fight. They need to set the tone this week for our post season run. Shut these people down.
