New Orleans Saints fans aren't flocking to Seattle this weekend

Tickets, hotel rooms, airfare. What's available and at what price?

In countless homes across the Who Dat Nation, anxious Saints fans clicked on Web sites and crunched numbers in their heads, weighing whether to buy or not to buy. Would it be Seattle or bust?
By Monday afternoon, it appeared that a hearty portion of the Saints traveling fan crew would be staying home this weekend, watching the television and rooting for a chance to travel to a second-round Saints playoff game.

The game at Seattle's 67,000-seat Qwest Field was not yet sold out as of Monday afternoon, almost a full day after the game was announced. Tickets were still available directly through Ticketmaster, the Seahawks ticket outlet. Buyers could snare upper-level seats -- on the Seahawks' side of the field -- for less than $100, or opt for posh club-level confines behind the Saints' bench for $240 a pop.

At StubHub, a popular online ticket resale site, seats ranged from $77 to $ 772.

They need to put together some nice package deals if they want Saints fans to go all the way up there against a 7-9 team. I don't blame the fans at all. If this game was in Green Bay or some other place, nothing against Seattle because I hear it's nice, more fans would have definitely flocked there.

Just pretend for some strange reason something un-imaginable happened and we lost, how sucky would it have been to say we traveled all the way up there and spent all that cash to lose to the frickin' Seahawks. The Seahawks.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

All little common sense goes a long way.

I went to Chicago and paid all that money to freeze my bunz off in Chicago and watch us lose to Da bears in 29 degree weather.

With all the injuries this year reminds me a lot of that 2005 season, only this year we have a legit D.

Too bad Deuce couldn't be resurrected to play in the play offs to regain the lost opportunity of 2005.

I expect it will be a screen pass-a-thon since neither Bush or Jones are power runners.

Seattle is a pretty long trek. Only the Hawiian Pro-Bowl is further. Not a lot of hype about this one either, even though its the most important one - and the only one on the schedule right now. I wouldn't go even if somebody gave me tickets. My last two trips were losses and I refuse to go three-and-out. I'm even going to watch the February game from a distance.

If somebody wants to give me tickets I'll spring for the airfare.

"New Orleans Saints fans aren't flocking to Seattle this weekend"

That's because Seattle is as far away from New Orleans as you can get and still be in the Continental United States.

Actually it's a projector that throws an image to a movie screen much like a movie theater. It can go to 256" in HD but I don't have a screen that size. You need a screen with silver in it to get the max out of the HD and they are very expensive. I could only afford the 108"/9ft screen.

Talk about cramp my style.
