How can you compare Ryan Leaf to Reggie Bush? I know Bush's bright spots in his career have been few and far between, but Leaf was an absolutely horrible player not to mention person. And to think they passed up Peyton Manning to take him...

How the hell does anyone blame Bush for signing the contract the team offered him?
In his time here he has proven he has the ability to be extremely explosive, change the way teams defend us, and provide alot of hi-lite reel plays. He has also proven to be fragile, have issues with ball security, prone to disappearing acts and not be a viable option as an every down back. He's an overpaid receiving option out of the backfield and nothing more. He either restructures or we have to let him test FA. |

If Bush tries to go to any other team they will over use him and he will be hurt again. So his options are to take less money and be used situationally, or take a big contract with a crappy team and be hurt in the 3rd game of the season.

So y'all really think Sean Payton is going to let Bush go to another team and receive nothing in return? I think that Bush will restructure his last year...

Reggie... I am very disappointed in you. The one chance you had the opportunity to shoulder the load and carry this team on your back, you failed. Decoy this decoy that... blah blah... overpaid and overrated.
I still do like you and your potential... but good luck to you with your new team. |
