Reggie Bush
It is time. He has always wanted to be the every down back. He has always said he can do it. It is go time. These next few games could define Reggie's career. If he carries us to a SB I will forget about all the stupid crap he has done. It is go time.
|
Well you're right. I've been a Reggie Bush advocate amongst many who feel differently. I'm sure he's eager for the chance. I have a feeling he can and will produce. I sure hope I'm right.

I just dont know. I would love for him to carry the load, but remember he's has been hurt too. I wouldnt want them to over use him, because if he gets hurt. JJ will be the starter with wynn and bell. Not good.
|
Run Reggie Run! I will be wearing my black Reggie jersey since it's my tradition to wear that jersey when I can watch on TV at home.
|
Give him increased touches/snaps, but don't overwork him, the last thing we need is reggie to go down because then they will double cover our WR's instead, with no one to draw coverage.
If Bush continues to play like he did vs seattle (chip on his shoulder, downhill running, with moves in the open field) then we will be fine. I've never though bush was a every down guy, but definitley increase his playing time, he has showed what he can do when he makes quick decisions, just needs to be more consistent. |
I think he goes off. He needs this. We need this. It's his time. He will come through. I have much faith and a gut feeling

He'll probably have a solid game, but cough it up too.
But we'll win anyway. I'm now his biggest fan, even if by default. |
GEAUX Reggie.

Yeah I really think he is going to step up too. Just hope he doesn't get knicked up. It's his time. It's our time. Les Do It!

Run Reggie Run, no more pretty boy stuff. It's time for you to be the back that we all know you can be, not every down but a lot of downs. And perfect game to start, they're run d is in the bottom of the league.
|
It's now or never for Reggie. Playoffs, back to the west coast, against his former coach. Let's get it.

bring the wood reggie!

How's this one... |
I think that if we open up with a heavy dose of Bush, Seattle will have to key on him. That's probably been the biggest problem for Bush, we don't use him enough that the defenses over key on him, especially between the tackles. If we keep defenses close to the line and inside the tackles, our offense opens up dramatically.
|
i think it is stupid to say its his chance now. hes had years to prove he could do it. he couldnt even make it as whatever he was before now all of a sudden hes going to prove it? we all want him to do good because we know what he did in college but c'mon man....hes had years to do it.

Coming out of the backfield for dump offs yeah Great. Handing him the ball not so great. He has even been very suspect as a returner with the amount of fumbles he has had. What we need to focus on is Jones and with Wynn and Bell backing him up. Will they be enough to get enough production to carry us forward. I think they will actually. |
The guy scares me, but we could use another performance like against Arizona last year. I say we go all out pass attack, let Reggie skip behind the rush as a check down, and just blow em aerially. Jennings is the softest corner in the world. Babineaux better as run support. Trufant can be hot or cold. The rookie Thomas scares me in their secondary as he has a nose for the ball and the big play similar to Jenkins.
|
Just run him behind Evans and screen him in the middle. He'll be fine if Payton doesn't make him start 7 yards deep on a swing pass. Reggie should settle down after a few touches and make a commitment to downhill running. This is a game where our offensive line SHOULD man-up and give us some push up front, especially against this team. If we can establish the run early, we will do whatever we want all afternoon.

Heaven help us, I agree if Reggie steps up through the playoffs it will re-define his career and he needs it in so many ways. Keep him away from punt returns, make him a offensive weapon and let him prove us wrong. I don't expect it, but certainly will take back every negativity (extensive believe me) i have ever directed at him. It would solidify him as a Saint and win over all of the Who Dat Nation who struggle with him.

I think he'll do well. But it's not like he's going to be alone either. I'm sure we'll use Jones and maybe Wynn also right?

NFL Network is rerunning some of Saints BS right now.
Beautiful. Losts of Saints,Colts segments are coming on now. :bng: |
Mardigras9 and Guido,I agree.
I am so so nervous, scared for the team , but I am getting to my calm mood of whatever will be will be. We fans , me too, have no control of this. Home field or road game, game is a game and a must win. It is harder when the team has the travel time, doing a quite learn of the stadium 's weather/airflow,whatever, and all of that. I totally agree with Guido and Mardigras. When we go to work, we have to just do it. Makes no difference for the team. Like others have said, Reggie can make or break himself, redefine his value here. The same goes for the coaches and the rest of the players. It is do or die time for them. They have to be hungry. They have to want it. Go Saints:bng: |
He's gone.
