Keys to the Superbowl
The major difference from last year to this year is INTs. Drew has thrown 22 while we have produced 9 INTs. That's a -13 which won't cut it in the playoffs. For the season we are -6 on turnover ratio.
I think we may be ok at running back since both Bush and Jones averaged 4 yards during the season. Considering Reggie was playing on one leg and he's 100% healthy now, it should be his time to shine. Jones is 100% healthy too and seems to know the playbook. |

I don't see Brees making these mistakes in the playoffs...I just don't.
That being said, I know Brees has made some boneheaded mistakes this year, but some of the interceptions were beyond his control. How many tipped passes did we see this year fall into our opponents hands? A bunch. Thats not going to happen in the playoffs. |

Brees gets a BUNCH of passes tipped and knocked down at the line of scrimmage. He may lead the league in that category. Our points per game have dwendled the last few weeks, which makes possessions much more critical during the playoffs. We will have to have positive give-away take-away numbers to have good success. We can get it done but we have to play sound football, make some plays, and protect the ball when we have it.

Brees won't make bone head mistakes and the running backs will get over 4 yards a carry...........if the Oline does it's job in the playoffs. To me that is the big difference between this year and last year.
