My point of view is that the regular season record is completely and totally irrelevant at this point. Look what the 8-8 Chargers did to the 11-5 Colts a couple of years ago. The Saints cannot afford to take anything for granted and I know Sean Payton realizes this. The Seahawks defense put together an amazing game last week and Drew Brees is simply going to have to outplay Matt Hasslebeck. Having said that, I feel that the Saints defense will be the deciding factor and I feel they are simply better than the Seahawks defense overall. I don't believe that the Seahawks secondary will be able to keep pace with the sheer volume of great receivers that the Saints have.

tks for your replies,..i am not here to talk trash at all..just having some fun in the saints forum..the hawks will have to overachieve,..its these types of games that will keep us all guessing. The weather in seattle will be cold with possible rain, snow showers. The seahawk faithful will be very loud, with Ivory out among others..i think that this may be alot closer than the "experts" think. Ol' Matt will have to really put something together,...think big Mike Williams, combination of Lynch/Forcett..im hoping..Goodluck and may the Saints smile down on the Hawks tomorrow

Haha, I hear ya. Just go and enjoy the playoffs like I'm sure we all will. So what's on the playoff menu up in Seattle, clam chowder or salmon? I think we're going to cook us a jambalaya tomorrow.
