this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; How was that not a roughing the kicker when Morstead got laid out on that punt? Also - it occurred to me - if Hartley makes that kick in the Atlanta game, this game never gets played. ugh....

I agree! Morstead was completely ran into and there was nobody around the player to have pushed him into the punter...

We had no running backs and still was within winning distance..
I don't think i wanted Saints to be that team to give Atlanta a free ticket to the Superbowl, Saints had nothing left on the roster to play with, ATL would have been licking their chops to stomp dance on our depleted team on their way to the Superbowl.. i'd rather a virtually healthy team go to ATL and gave it their best shot.. Saints had nothing to go to Dallas with. |
