In what was arguably the greatest upset in NFL playoffs history, Seattle Seahawks, which came into the game with a losing record, beat the New Orleans Saints 41-36 in the first round of the NFC playoffs at Qwest Field.
Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck was brilliant, throwing for 272 yards and four touchdown passes, and running back Marshawn Lynch put the game away with a terrific 67-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter. The Saints finish the season at 11-6 and Seattle (8-9) will play at Atlanta next Saturday. Drew Brees threw for 327 yards in the loss. FULL ARTICLE HERE |

Look, there is no doubt that AtlFalcons will defeat SS.
SS went against a Saints with so many injuries and yet the Saints were close. It was a hard fought win by SS and a hard fought lost by Saints. I think AF will win, but then aftger,AF have a long ,hard road ahead in the Playoffs. I usually go for the underdog, butI bet SS get two Playoff games and AF get two runs in the Playoffs. Aftger AF and SS both get out of the Playoffs, some team , any team stop NE Pats and Brady from being in the SB. I would like tp watch the game, but if NE Pats and Brady is in,forget it. |

Let me help you out: Turner had 48 yards on 17 carries, White had 3 catches for 43 yards and the only TD by the offense, and Ryan had 148 yards passing. This was against the same defense that was manhandled today by the 'Hawks. What's that say about your offense? Huuuuuuuuuuumble! |

The only saving grace for the season will be watching Atl fall. I don't think they can make it to the Bowl, but if for some reason they do, New England will CRUSH them. They Dirtybirds "can't say a thing, cuz they don't have a ring"

Our guys makes that kick and you were playing in that game while we sit at home with a one seed. Don't act like our teams weren't at least equal this season. The Packers will dispatch you next week and we can all watch the big game from home. |
