Dallas 8-3
Minnesota 7-4
Carolina 8-3
St Louis 8-3

Philly 8-3
Seattle 7-4
Green Bay 6-5

NO 5-6
SF 5-6
NY 4-6 (play tomorrow)
Washington 4-6 (play tonight)
Tampa 4-6 (play tomorrow)

Obviously, it doesn't look good. That second loss to Carolina (which was actually a win minus the officials) hurts like hell right now. 6-5 right now gives us a real chance. 5-6 means we will probably have to win out to even have a chance.

I\'ve been cautiously optimistic about the Saints\' chances to go to the playoffs, but I knew that even if we were fortunate enough for them to go 6-1 in the last 7, they\'d still need help. Problem is we didn\'t get the help we needed yesterday.

Looking at the schedules of the teams ahead of the Saints, we need a lot of losing now and many of those teams have seemingly easy games left. Even worse, the team with perhaps the toughest schedule (Philly) is playing well enough now to win out. I know mathematically it is still possible, but chances are getting slimmer every week.

In the end I\'d still rather go 9-7 than 6-10, so I\'m rooting for \'em, but the playoffs are going to have to wait - again.
