Defenses game planning for Bush?
Reggie has lost a step lately. I wasn't ever that high on him but at least I bought into the whole "defenses have to game plan for him" deal. I don't believe that anymore.
I saw him on Saturday catch a pass in open space (this is supposed to be what he's good at) run a few yards and get caught FROM BEHIND by a linebacker. That's not special. So if he can't make a defense dizzy trying to protect against his elusiveness, he can't catch the edge on a sweep and he can't run between the tackles downhill, what is he doing here? Put me in the "get rid of him" camp. |

Restructure his contract and keep him. If he won't restructure cut ties and pray he ends up in the AFC because he will come back to haunt us.

At his projected salary...yep. If he restructures down to something in line with his performance to date and inability to stay healthy I am fine with him returning.
I too fully bought into his impact on defenses even without the ball, but teams have caught on to the fact that even when he has it seldom will a huge play occur and moreso his ball security is suspect, making defenses almost want him to get touches. Come back for reasonable money Reggie and finally prove you are what many believed. |

I've broke my leg and anytime the weather changes; arthritis sets up in it and it aches.
You can't make me believe that Bush was feeling 100% Saturday. With that said, he has not made a complete season without some kind of injury. Just like P.T. and Ivory, if you can't stay healthy what are we paying you for? |

Restructure for in line pay or he can test his worth elsewhere.
I say we keep him if the pay is right. |

One of the arguments in the CBA is rookie salaries. Bush's contract was based on draft position which is what is wrong with the current draft system. The draft is a crap shoot. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose.
Bush has not lived up to his current contract but he has shown flashes of his abilities. I don't think any team will give him the money due in his final year so I think he will restructure and stay with the team. I don't see the team releasing him for nothing in return. |

I just don't understand. It was he is too small(see CJ2K AND Jamal Charles). That's not it. Why can't he play. I don't understand it.

It's been like 100 games now where I have said that Reggie will explode and I look like a fool. Just make me right once.
