That name is pretty much irrelevant now but other team fans aren't very creative with ribbing so they use what they know... I say let em.. we will always have the Superbowl. That name should not even bother you or anyone else..

We can now use it on the Failcons or FalcAIN'T'S How about that?

and if I remember correctly we beat the Jets in New York on a last second TD pass by Richard Todd and won something like 22-21. I remember watching that game.

uh uh. We didnt have Richard Todd till '84. But it was a last second pass.

I have memory fog, too.

Just adding something to what Halo posted....yeah, but N.O.Saints fans have always been there even during the Aint's time and paper bag times.
Every year in the spring when that envelope would come in the mail about renewing season tickets, so many fans would go on and renew. I personally know of this.

If I remember right, Buddy D did his sports cast wearing a bag during the season and that's when the fans started doing it.
