He deserves a raise magic.
Drew had to literally put the team on his back seen as we had absolutely no running game.
The cleveland game he did not play well but the Coach Payton got outcoached that game when they ran a load of trick plays.
Every QB has a couple of bad games, but the way i see it. The guy has brought us 2 back to back Post Season appearances, a SB championship, he donates his time and money to the city. He's the Best QB the franchise has ever had.
The guy deserves a raise, and big time. We will get a running game and drew will be his same old self, he can't do it all on his own.

"Drew Brees doesn't deserve a raise" is one of the craziest things I've heard on here in a long time.

Take a look at any QB when they lack a running game. Brees has had to deal with that all year. Also, how many dropped passes did we have this year? GO out there and bring in another QB and see what he does... not a thing.

Our WR corps is very good but not top 5 in the league. Our RB's are probably bottom 5 and the TE's maybe in the middle. Even with all that, we still score in bunches.

Like it or not Brees is the face of the Saints organization and the Saints will do whatever it takes to keep him here until he retires.

You've got to look at his whole body of work... not just one statistic from one season.

Drew's INT's were not all his doing. alot of them were tips.

Make no mistake Drew has earned top QB money. Why does Manning deserve more money than Drew? IMHO...He doesn't.

Drew IS the New Orleans Saints and we would have never even sniffed at a SuperBowl without him.

Drew will be 32 on Saturday and in his book he said how he would have loved to play his entire career with 1 team. Well that can't happen but we can make sure it's only 2. I say a 7 year $100 million extension. He's earned it.

Magic, I'm not worried about the Cleveland loss; they beat the Saints the only way they could.
The Browns straight dominated the Patriots on both sides of the ball.

What were you watching, you don't hold out on a player of Drew Brees's character. Who's our other option. Nobody, The homefield was lost in the first ATL game when your kicker missed a bunny. And the battered Saints were trying to keep up the whole year long.

Give him the money. No other Saints QB accomplished more.
