Saints' Horn finally talks and he isn't happy

METAIRIE - Loquacious New Orleans Saints wide receiver Joe Horn, who had vowed weeks ago that he would never again talk to the media, couldn't hold his tongue any longer.

After dressing and leaving the locker room without talking to reporters following the Saints' 33-20 to Philadelphia, Horn summoned WWL radio's sideline reporter Kenny Wilkerson in the parking lot of Lincoln Financial Field.

"I've been quiet long enough man," said Horn, who stopped talking to the media following the Saints' 45-17 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Oct. 19. "I'm just upset. I'm tired of losing. (Saints owner) Mr. (Tom) Benson paid me good money to make plays, to be a part of this offense. And I don't feel like I am until we are down 14 points."

Don\'t blame him for being pissed. Problem is, they can double team Horn, the rest of their defense can concentrate on Deuce, and suddenly our offense struggles, like it has much of this season. That\'ll give you a scrub like Boo Williams, yes I said \"scrub\", with 100+ yards receiving, despite the loss.

I don\'t understand why Horn is so upset that he doesn\'t get the ball until we\'re down by 14. That means he catches his first pass, what, three or four minutes into the game. We get down so quickly that unless we throw to him on the first or second play of the game, he\'s not going to get it until we\'re down 14.

BnB is right though. If Donte or Pathon or Lewis or Boo or anyone could hurt the defense then they couldn\'t key on our big three, Deuce, Brooks, and Horn. However, those guys never make the D pay so they focus on our playmakers and force the other guys to beat us. It\'s a good plan, it hasn\'t failed a winning team yet.

I agree with what your saying WhoDat but Horn is really
talking about the play calling.Teams stack the line of
scrimmage and eventually that will get Duece hurt and he
will start to wear down ( Jamal Lewis and or Stephan Davis)

\"If Donte or Pathon or Lewis or Boo or anyone could
hurt the defense then they couldn\'t key on our big three,
Deuce, Brooks, and Horn\"

This is a true statement but if we come out 3 wide sets the
passing/blocking tight end than Duece, people it makes a
differance. Than the plays should be called to accomodate
this type of spread and when we do do this we still run
Duece. This is what Horn is REALLY saying. Than Brooks can
go down field which is his thing.

Another big mistake was missing with Brooks about this
pocket passer. He is so confused he hesistate to run
when he needs to and thus the turn overs.

This is all coaching. Haz been out coached alot this season
and if the Saints derail in December Haz should be gone
and a more offensive minded-motivater can be hired.

You lost me at your third paragraph. I developed tired-head trying to interpret your post.
