My only article for the 2010 season...
Hey guys and gals.
Sorry that I didn't get to write a bunch of articles this past season. Most of you know that I'm a N'Awlins native (raised in the Lower 9th Ward). But if you don't know, I live in "Carolina Panthers Country," and actually ran for U.S. Congress there (in 2010). I won't go into the reasons, but I'm sure you can figure out whazzup with that. Anyway, I got a chance to submit an article about Jerry Romig (our PA announcer in the Superdome). I hope you like it: http://blackandgold.com/saints/31961...wn-saints.html As many of you know, I've been with B&G.com since 2002. Our Chief Editor, Mark Clark, has been great to work for. In years past I've had the privilege of interviewing coaches of players we've taken in the NFL draft. Quite often, B&G.com has been at the forefront long before others pick up on the worth/value of a player. Examples are: Jahri Evans, Marques Colston, Carl Nicks, Thomas Morstead, Robert Meachem and many others. Be on the lookout for me to write article for our new draft picks in 2011. Thanks for your support, patience and understanding. --Bill ("Stealthman") |

Congrats for attempting a very difficult endeavor. Public service is a thankless job. Just running for office is under-appreciated. Hope you aren't discouraged and try again.
excellent article, welcome back. |
