We have 5 games left, and we just put up 500 yards on the best team in the NFC, despite all the mistakes.
I think it will shake down like this...
W- @Wash (will be a close shave)
W- Tampa Bay (back to back road games for an aging team we match up against very well)
W- NYG (they have officially quit, I hope)
W- @Jax (TRAP GAME!!!! But if we lose this one we don't deserve a postseason)
W- Dallas (this game will decide if we make playoffs or not. The DOME shall ROCK)

PLEASE THIS IS A "NO AARON BROOKS DEBATE" THREAD

If I read one more AB debate thread I'm gonna freaking vomit up a kidney.

It\'s entirely possible. I was a little down after losing the Philly game, but I think they can do it. There are definately no powerhouse teams on the schedule. I think this team alreadty proved it\'s not going to quit. One game at a time. I\'m a little concerned with the Tampa game though.

I think we played Philly straight up.
We had too many unforced errors to win it. We basically beat ourselves. But yea, Philly was the better team that day, and they deserved the win. But it was a lot closer than the score indicated.

I think we\'ll be favored in every game left on our schedule until Dallas comes to town.
By then we may even be favored over them.

I give us a 3-in-5 shot at postseason right now.

We need to pray the Eagles win that division, since we lose the tie breaker to the Eagles and the Seahawks

I\'m in no way being a pessimist with this reply, but a realist. If the Saints win 5 straight games to end the season, I\'ll streak naked through the local police department with mistletoe taped to the small of my back if they go 10-6. That is how unlikely, in my opinion, that the Saints will pull that off.

Philly, GB,STL, and Car win their divisions, so we have to worry about
Dallas, TB, Minn, and Sea...

Dallas has MIA,@PHL,@WAS,NYG,@NO
I can see them easily losing 3 for a 10-6 record, and with a loss to us they stay home.

Seattle has CLE,@MIN,@STL,AZ,@SF
I can see them losing 3 also for a 9-7 record. AZ is their trap game.

Minn has @STL,SEA,@CHI,KC,@AZ
I can see them self-destruct and lose 2 or 3 for a 10-6, 9-7 record.

We have to knock out TB.

Whether we agree or disagree; its all for Him.

I think it\'s going to depend on Aaron Brooks\' play and whether or not he can overcome all the mistakes he\'s been making.

sorry, couldn\'t resist, I want to see the kidney :P

I can\'t even think about 5 games into the future, seems to me that Spurrier needs some W\'s to even try to keep his job. I\'m thinking this weekend is a dogfight.

To top it all off, Haz traditionally quits coaching at this part of the season and starts looking for his next off season scapegoat.

You left off the toughest opponent the Saints still have to face... themselves. The Saints can put a loss on themselves any week and blow up that pretty picture real fast.
