Although he had more success as a Saint, he left N.O. under negative circumstances. So my guess is he'll go in as a Chief.

Correct me if I'm wrong but while there are photos of the players in the hall and stats on their whole career. They don't go "in" as a member of any particular team. They're just in

I was wondering the same thing, but I'm pretty sure you go in as a member of a primary team. That's why you hear things like "Atlanta" has 0 hall of fame players. New Orleans only has one, etc... Ricky Jackson went in as a Saint, not as a 49er.

They just go in as a player who played for x teams, I haven't been to the hall since 2002 but when I went they had each bust with name and career info on top of it. IMO it's the same as Ricky, he was a saint who happened to play for another team

That's the right call. It's a tribute to the person not the team. Now if a stadium wants to do a Carolina thievery statue tribute they can but in the end it just pisses people off.
