Offseason
Hey I know our season ended two weeks ago and the Superbowl is in two weeks what do you guys do in the offseason.
I have alot making up to do with the wife she pissed I thing I'm sorry I know she hated when football season come around either I come home to late from watching the games on Sunday or I come home drunk as s*&t most of the time it both. She's not a football fan so I have alot of making to do and I a couple thinks to fix around the house I broke a couple of plaks on the fence in the back yard from that Seattle game and hole in the wall in the garage from the same game so I got to start kissing a$$. Damn I forgot Mardi Gras is in a month in a half well I will start after that if she's still around. |

Buy her a jersey and let her join in on the fun. My wife got so wrapped up in football, she "made" me get NFLN and she stole my Shockey jersey from me. She got tired of missing the games on Thursday nights and not having any Saints gear to wear during the game. Buy her some gold fluer-de-lis era rings. Do something to just get her involved.

First, you HAVE to get your wife involved. Listen to Hulka. Buy her Fleur de Lis jewelry and blingy gold stuff to wear, and invite her to your next Saints thingy. Watch the game somewhere they have great food, and make a dinner with friends out of it. My wife LOVES football season. Its a big social event for us.
Offseason? Well, my wedding biz picks up next month, so that'll keep me busy with brides, etc. My day job gets pretty busy during the Houston Rodeo also. And best of all, Crawfish Season is coming? Aha! I dont just eat em, I trap em, and kill snakes in the process. I still like baseball, and go to Astros games, and hope they dont suck this year. But by the time you normally give up on baseball, its time for training camp! I love training camp and preseason. Of course the Houston Chapter of WhoDat Nation (and it puzzles me why you havent joined us.) finds numerous excuses to get together throughout the offseason. Sometimes we hang out at our bar, sometimes we go to baseball, (maybe hockey this year) often everyone just comes over to my house and gets drunk. Usually, somebody brings Saints videos, and this year, I think we may focus on classic Saints videos. And of course my posting on B&G goes year round. |

My wife is not a sports fan to say the least. She hates football actually. But when it comes to Saints football, she doesn't have a choice. I live in Denver so I only get a few games a year. When I do get those games she can either watch the games with me or do whatever else she wants.
Over time she has really grown to love the Saints. I think that is because I have kind of pushed it on her by buying her all kinds of Saints stuff (she also thinks Sean Payton is hot). She grew up ia Denver Donkey house so somehow I was able to sway her from that team. You gotta just keep working on her. She'll turn the corner over time. |

We've since moved to Ragin Cajun (Westheimer) and will be there for Draft Day, and any other excuse we can think of, before we go off to Eds house to get drunk and watch Saints videos. Glad you caught us on tv, though. It makes your butt look big. |
