Who are you rooting for Packers or Steelers?
So who will you all be rooting for in Super Bowl XLV? As for me, I will be rooting for the Packers for a variety of reasons:
1. The Packers are my second favorite team behind the Saints. This is probably because they are a pass-first offense, which reminds me of the Saints. I also think they are a very classy organization, like the Saints. And my Uncle is from Wisconsin. 2. I'm an NFC kind of guy. 3. I always feel that the Steelers are the beneficiaries of bad and/or corrupt officiating. 4. I can't abide by Pig Pen and his "off-field issues." |
Pack... but I like both teams.

Can't pull for a rapist.
Go Packers!!! |
Packers! I too am a Packers fan. Have been all my life. But The Saints ALWAYS comes first.
Plus, I have hated the Steelers since the 70s. I liked Terry Bradshaw as a quarterback, but I hate the Steelers. Besides, I couldn't root for any team with Rapistburglar as the quarterback. |
Man I don't give a damn my boys was asking me today where everyone watching the game I told them I don't care if I watch the Superbowl I'm pretty sure I will but I not that motivated to watch it. I'm more excited about the offseason to see what's going to happen with the CBA and the draft and what the Saints are going to in free agents.

I hate both teams. But I hate Rapelisberger more than both of them, so I guess it's Go Pack!
|
Plus I forgot how sick I am of that overrated shampoo salesman Polamalu as well.
|
GEAUX PACK!
|
Packers.. frankly tired of Pitts.. Plus i want the real Black and Gold to catch up with them so they need to slow down lol.
|
Rapist-Burglar-- hahahahaha... too funny.
Except for their weather, the Packers fans are exactly like us. Their town is supposed to be too small for a team. Their Stadium is iconic. And a great number of them drive for hours from little towns all over the place, just like we do. They're rugged and real, just like coonazzes. And they talk funny. I'll bet they have as much Packer stuff in their houses and cars as we do, and their whole area code paints itself in their colors on game day. (Here in Houston, the Texans can have a home game, and you can be here, and be completely unaware there is an NFL game going on. The people here hardly wear colors, much less paint their wagons, and most of them are corporate types who drive 1/2 hour from the suburbs, go to the game, then hang out at Bennigans with clients, on the way home.) N.O. and G.B fans are more alike. Their grandpas were Pack fans, just like your Dad loved the Saints. We had Archie. They had Bart. And you're not corporate nothing. You got the ticket with your own money, because you live and die Saints. If the Saints lose, we're breaking stuff, and we're in a bad mood all Monday and Tuesday. You'd never bring a "client" to the Dome, because you'd completely ignore them, while you're screaming for the defense. Probably the same in GB. Does Lambeau even have "suites?" They got cheese, we got crawfish, but I think their beer might be nastier. Also our girls have big butts, theirs are more busty, Helga types, and I dont think they like hot sauce. But overall, Packer Fans and Saints Fans are very much the same. We should talk. |

I really like Aaron Rodgers and the way he's playing and I hope he can win one and step out of Bretts Favre's shadow.
|
Packers...
Steelers are a bunch of sucker punching, cheapshot, lady-abusing punks... |
Packers, can't stand the Steelers. Wanted the Seahawks to beat em, wanted the Cardinals to beat em. Finally they go up against a good team, Airing Out Rodgers will win.
|
Go Pack Go
|
I can't stomach all the fake Steelers fans, adn even the real ones are annoying.
|
No kidding, i had to deal with some Sunday night, they were acting like it was their first trip, please it came off so fake too
|
Can't pull for a rapist.
Go Packers!!! Quote:
This is true. Plus I really like Aaron Rogers. |
NO ONE!
May be GB but really I don't care... NO CHEERLEADERS! First SB with no cheerleaders that is just wrong on many levels. |

Pulling for the Cheeseheads. I like the Steelers, and have great respect for them (any team that has won 6 out of 7 Superbowls, and been in 15 AFCCGs you have to respect), but I am NFC all the way in this one.

on that note, im pulling for the packers. i live in steeler country and their fans are as bad as cowboy fans. plus im still pulling for mccarthy, i thought the guy did a hell of a job when he was here. |

If you need to see Cheerleaders at football games, you really need to get out more. |

Pulling for Rogers, like the Steelers historically, except for the Rapist (should be one strike you're out, but it's not even two strikes and out for him).
|
pack for me
|
Well, I'm pulling for the Packers, because when we start winning multiple superbowls in a row, it'll be easier to pass the Steelers when they have less in terms of overall franchise superbowl wins.
|
I like both squads, so I'm looking forward to a great game. We've certainly had a string of em over the last few years. I'll go ahead and pick the Steelers to win, though.
 |
Pack the Curtin.

I am really voting for the food. You know, before we all felt that Saints win of a SB and really had a big interest in the game, you just went with having your SB party or going to one, and you really just pulled for the food....what you hadto bring or cook, drinks. It is a different feeling now having a real connection to SB.
I like that feeling from last year. I want to feel that again. Ok, I'll pick the Packers. |
I agre with SkyMike. Good points of Saints/Packers fans diehard connections.

SF, i cant think straight.
I love cheerleaders. |
i think it was ditka's 3rd game of the season and we were going to win the superbowl as he gave up all for r. williams, i were stuck in bowling green kentucky. we went to a sports bar to watch the game. i had a saints cap on which i still own today by the way. 2 twin looking fellows walks in fully cladded in steelers garb sits besides me and my co-worker and kinda snarls at me as he looked directly at my saints cap. its about 97 degrees outside and a nice 78 inside, the 2 molly's like i said were loaded down with steeler clown suits heavy duty jackets and all. by the third quarter jackets were still on and i believe steelers were still losing big; sweat running down there faces were priceless. before the 4th quarter started the steel curtin's had melted and the 2 sheep hauled asre in pissed off manner.great fans of metal. ditka did lose that game as he went on a 7 game losing streak and was fired before 2000 season.

Many Saints fans would be driven out of Green Bay if they acted like a fair weather, traitor fan like some of you have. I'm not even going to watch the Super Bowl this year. Fudgepackers vs the dirty team. Why on earth would I want to watch that crap? |
