Patrick Robinson

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We drafted him in the first round for a reason. It's going to be his second year in GW's D. You think he is going to have a break out year or be in the dog house again?...

I think this was a developmental year for him, just as Malcolm Jenkins' first year was.

He'll be able to react more quickly in GW's system now that he understands his role.

Cornerbacks always progress the most from their rookie year to their second season, just the way it is.
Pat Robinson is going to be a good one, the guy has great speed and can really hit!
agreed with the fact that one more year in GW's system will have helped him progress

very true to the above post, the ota's i think they call them will beef him up where his body will absorb more punishment. he was hobbled at times in 2010. its been awhile since we had a cb that has recover speed like him.

I don't think he was in the doghouse at all. He was a rookie and wasn't going to get significant playing time with Greer/Porter entrenched as the starters and Jenkins shifting all over the place. He'll get a lot more run this year and will eventually become a above average corner in the league imo. I really like this kid.

I see greatness in him. I think and hope he'll be our best CB in a couple of years. He can hit and he moves well on the field.

Yeah give him some time already really takes a player 4 years to develop for a lot of positions. It is rare for them to break out day one even especaillay at WR and CB.

He was drafted 2008 and started the 5 games he played that year. He started 11 out of 12 in 2009 and 12 out of 12 in 2010.
