Made my first hole in one today!!!
 

I know this doesnt belong in the Saints section but let it slide for a few days Mark.

I hit my first HOLE IN ONE TODAY!!!! It was a munic/Hebert park in Lafayette, LA. Hole #2 140yrds. I used an 8 iron. Im going to be in the paper and a magazine. Ill have pics and links to follow. Ive been playing for about 7-8 years. I still cant believe it:bng:

Congrats. I made mine in year 3, and haven't come close to another one in 20 years since. Two hopper from about 165 using a knockdown 4 iron into the wind.

Yea I shot an 89 today but that shot was unreal. I didnt even think it went in, I thought it bounced off the back of the green because the pin location was on the back of the green. The marshal saw and and when I drove by him I said "man it rolled off the green." He said "son you just made a hole in one." I didnt believe him until I walked up to the cup and saw it in there. I still cant believe it! WOW

What did you shoot on the next par 3?

After my hole in one I shot a friggin' 8 on the next par 3, and didn't care one bit.

A bogey, lol. I played ok today for my game. I average around high 80's low 90's.

Man, I've been golfing for 30 years and haven't hit one yet, except at Putt Putt.

Congrats!!! I think my odds are better at a 300 bowling game, even with my 154 average :-)

That's awesome. I got my first back in Sulphur, LA at Frasch Park. Hit the par 3 short on a turtle back green. It rolled across, hit the stick and plop. Crazy fun.

I still have the scorecard that I keep in my vehicle on the visor. hey, good luck is good luck if you know what I mean. ;)

I hit mine in 99. It was actually during a tournament. Unfortunately it wasn't the hole where you win a free truck for the hole-in-one.

Congrats, B-Dub. I remember a time when a friend of mine got an eagle on a par 4. Only reason I mention it is because of the way it happened. His driver hit the ground about a foot behind the ball and bounced up and topped the ball. The ground was so hard at that course that the ball actually bounced and rolled all the way down the fairway to within a couple of inches of the cup.

I'm sure your hole-in-1 was a lot prettier than that. :)

But, congrats on the hole-in-one, and be sure and gloat to the press. I, for one, believe in endzone dancing. And yes this thread should stay in the main forum.

That's good stuff. GRATS! Still waiting on mine. I've been in the leather 6-7 times and hit the stick twice - nothing. That's probably why I like that girl so much.

Congrats B-Dub! Still waiting on my first after 11 years of playing. Been in the leather once and 2 weeks ago I hit my tee shot fat and in the water on a 170 yd hole, took my drop from 118 and holed it for par. That's the way my luck goes. But of course you know the next time we see you the beer is on you!:chug:

I was a little disappointed in the article. It was just a small column with my name and stuff in the paper. I thought I would have a pic and cool stuff to go with it. Not only that, like 3 other guys hit aces the same day. They stole my thunder. Haahaha. Its all good, its still going down in the B.Dub record books.
