I want the NFC West back
I never thought I'd say that, but jeez. Tampa and Atlanta are probably both better then any team in the West. The niners are good, but not great. Anyone remeber the strike year when the Saints were 12-3 and finished 2nd in the division and were a wild card?! Deja vu much?

I may be in the minority here, but I just dont see the Falcons as being a very talented team. With Duckett missing Warrick Dunn isnt a good back. The Saints made him look good, but he is not. Their recievers are decent at best. The new 3-4 defense fits them pretty good, but the secondary let by \"BIG PLAY RAY\" is overrated. Outside of Brookings the LB\'s arent scaring anyone. The only thing I see about the Falcons is Vick. He will shine some games and look like he did this week in others. If you make him pass you win, but if you allow him to get out of the pocket and make plays you probably lose. I see Vick as a great athlete and not a very good QB. Maybe one day he will be but just not right now. I love the South and am glad not to play the niners and rams twice. I dont care about their record they are still the greatest show on turf outside of of the Bayou.

actually, i kinda disagree on this, i think that the falcons, while not having that much talent are doing a solid job with what they have, which is a bunch of mediocre players, just like the Patriots of last year, who as we all know won the superbowl.

This is one of those rare topics where everyone is right. The Falcons are good at one thing, making the best of what they have. This i believe is because of Dan Reeves. This man is a good coach. His problem is he has Vick and no one else. Still his defense keeps them in games. The Falcons win over the Saints was a fluke. When most of your defense is either out of the game or playing hurt what else can you say. As I said in another discussion, I believe the next game will be totally different.

The Falcons are not that good. I live in Atlanta (Stone Mountain) and watch them every week. They are not as good as people make them out to be. Vick is great..without a doubt. After Vick the team is poo-poo. With the same sorry o-line that kept Chris Chandler on the injured list it is only a matter of time before Vick is hurt. And once Vick goes down it\'s all over for the Dingy birds.

Kudos to Dan Reeves...he\'s done a good job, but Atlanta is a pretender not a contender. As I\'ve said before, Vick\'s little ballet routine is gonna get him killed, and at this point he\'s all they\'ve got. We make a few tackles against \'em and the results would have been different. Tampa hangs around because of their defense, but I see that Falcon\'s fading.

Well, now the Falcons are 5-0-1 in their last six, and while I agree with all of you that aside from Vick there is no one special on that team, they, not us or Tampa, are in the driver\'s seat for the South. Why? 1. Like the Pats of last year, they don\'t win pretty but they win. 2. Their schedule is ridiculous: Carolina, Minnesota, Tampa, Seattle, Detroit, Cleveland. Only Tampa is as good as the Falcons, and Tampa plays Green Bay then the Saints in the two weeks before they play Atlanta.
