I really feel he is the RB we need. We need to stop all of this, picking guys up off the street that "MAY" have a little something left in the tank, crap.

I have to disagree. Our RBs will be healthy, and between the 4 of them, including Lynell I think we can do good things. Our defense was clearly the weak link. We had no trouble scoring points, we had trouble stopping them.

We were ranked 11th best in offensive points scored per game

We were ranked 7th best in defensive points given up per game

I'm curious, what makes you think our RBs will be healthy this year? Do you see them getting tougher than they have been the past three seasons? Do you see other team's defenses getting weaker? Based on their historical records, the RBs being healthy this year is as likely as the Saints being able to draft Patrick Peterson with the 24th pick. The fact is this group of RBs has NEVER had a season where they didn't all miss games. Counting on it to be otherwise is a wish. Do you realize the last RB the team had suit up for all 16 games was Aaron Stecker in 2007?

I know that the defense wasn't stellar, but what about the 4th and 1 we couldn't convert in the playoff game against Seattle? What about the fact that the team was ranked 28th in the league in rushing yards per game and 24th in rushing TDs per game?

Look, I'm not saying the D doesn't need help, but it seems like many people are looking back on the feel good story of the undrafted Thomas and how he helped the team win it all and thinking it's going to happen again. Take off the rose colored glasses people! This isn't a re-run of Rudy! Being able to run the ball when you need to (and when the other team knows you need to) is very important in football. Quit nickle-and-diming the position and get a real RB!
